San Raffaele 2026 test information
The entry test for San Raffaele is an independent exam. Each year a decree defines registration deadlines, test centres, available seats and the detailed syllabus. We continuously monitor the latest call and help you interpret dates, procedures and documents so you can focus on preparation instead of bureaucracy.
This information is based on the latest official San Raffaele 2026 decree and may be updated when the San Raffaele 2027 call is published

Test San Raffaele 2026:
- Test Dates: Typically held across two sessions in late February and March
- Delivery Method: Online (home-based) via a dedicated remote proctoring platform
- Duration: 60 minutes
San Raffaele 2027 is expected to follow a very similar calendar; we will update this section as soon as the new decree is published
Who can take the Test?
- EU candidates and non-EU candidates legally residing in Italy.
- Non-EU candidates residing abroad, competing in a dedicated ranking pool.
- Academic Requirements: Open to final-year high school students (graduating by July) or graduates.
Structure & scoring of the test (San Raffaele 2026)
60 multiple-choice questions, 5 options, 1 correct answer.
Question breakdown:
- 36 Logical Reasoning, Problem Solving, and Critical Thinking questions (60% of the test)
- 24 Science questions (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics)
Marking scheme (max 60 points):
- +1 points for each correct answer
- −0.25 points for each wrong answer
- 0 points for each omitted answer
Rankings:
Your final placement is based on your highest score if you took both sessions. In case of a tie, the score obtained in the Logical Reasoning section takes priority.
Online registration:
Registration is done entirely online through the university's official student portal.
- Where to go: You need to access the UniSR Student Portal under Admissions âž” International Medical Doctor Program.
- How to proceed:
âž” Register on the portal to get your login credentials.
- âž” Log in, go to the "Registrar's Office" / "Admission Applications" section.
- âž” Choose whether you want to sign up for Session 1, Session 2, or both (registering for both is highly recommended to maximize your chances).
- Registration Fee: Approximately €200 per session (or a discounted bundle if booking both sessions together).
